Friends of Nursery Field is a non community organization that was created to raise awareness and give Rye Citizens a voice, and support, in the preservation of the Rye Nursery Park.  In 2002, this land was converted to park status by the City of Rye. Our mission is to maintain the land as was originally intended; primarily as a wetland preserve, and secondarily, a natural recreational space. We would like all of Rye—it’s citizens, land and waterways— to continue to benefit for generations to come.
